This policy covers blacklightworks.com and the client portal at blacklight.works.

What we collect

When you use the form, we collect your email and your message. When you email us, we receive your address and what you send. When you sign in to the client portal, we keep your email and a record of each sign-in. Our host also processes technical data, such as your IP address, to deliver the site and protect it.

How we use it

To answer you, to do the work you hire us for, and to keep the site secure. Nothing else.

Who we share it with

We share it with two companies that run our systems, and no one else. Cloudflare hosts the site, routes our email, protects the form from abuse and sends your sign-in code. Proton hosts our email. We disclose information when the law requires it, and we never sell it.

Client work

Files and information you give us as a client are covered by our agreement with you.

Cookies and tracking

We use only the cookies the form’s security check and the portal sign-in need to work. We add no analytics, advertising or tracking tools. We do not track visitors over time or across other websites, and we do not allow anyone else to. Because of that, a browser’s Do Not Track signal changes nothing here.

Security

Every page is served over an encrypted connection. The client portal signs you in with a one-time code sent to your email, so we never store a password.

How long we keep it

Only as long as we need it for the reason you gave it to us.

Your choices

Write to hello@blacklightworks.com to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you.

Changes

When this policy changes, we post the new version here with a new effective date. Clients hear from us by email before any change that affects them.
